Questions to Ask Your Budtender
Visiting a cannabis dispensary for the first time can feel unfamiliar — but it doesn't need to be. Delta Blazers is a friendly, no-pressure environment where you can ask questions, take your time, and find products at fair prices. Here's everything you should know before you stop in.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a member of the Delta Blazers team. You'll need to show a valid government-issued ID confirming you're 21 or older — this is required for every visit. Once inside, feel free to browse at your own pace. Our team is here to answer questions, not to push products.
Common Product Categories
Flower is the dried cannabis plant, typically smoked or vaporized. Pre-rolls are pre-made joints — convenient and available in different strains. Edibles include gummies and other food-based products with a longer onset time (usually 30–90 minutes). Concentrates are potent extracts — typically for more experienced consumers. Vapes are portable, discreet, and available in various formulations. Accessories include glass pipes, grinders, rolling papers, and more.
Basic Terminology
You'll hear terms like Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid — these describe the general plant type and are commonly used to help customers navigate the menu. THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the main psychoactive compound. CBD (cannabidiol) is non-intoxicating and used for a variety of purposes. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that contribute to flavor and aroma differences between strains.
General Dosing Awareness
If you're new to cannabis, starting low and going slow is always a sound approach. For edibles especially, wait to feel effects before consuming more — onset can take significantly longer than with flower or vapes. Ask the Delta Blazers team for guidance based on available product information.

What formats do you carry for someone new to cannabis? What's the difference between these two products? What information is available for this product? How long does this typically take to take effect? These are all great starting points. No question is too basic.
